Performance of the Front-end Analogue Filter for MSGCs signals in CMS at Different Track Incidence Angles

The performance of the analogue signal processing filter implemented in the front-end readout chip for the CMS Micro Strip Gas Chambers is evaluated for tracks with incidence angle up to 45 degrees. The impact on efficiency, bunch crossing pile-up and signal to noise is quantified using Monte Carlo generated events simulating isolated hits in MSGC modules described according to the CMS baseline specifications.
